3 bottles of Fonseca 1963 Vintage Port.
These bottles have stored on their side at as constant temperature as possible since they were bought from Bentalls, Kingston Upon Thames in 1977. They are in good condition with what appears to be lead seals intact and all levels are at the base of the neck, above the shoulder.
On the side of the seal it says; Product of Portugal. Corney and Barrow. This company which is still in existence inform me that they imported and bottled the port in 1963.
There are no labels, however on the top of the seal it says; Fonseca Vintage 1963.
My research tells me that this is an excellent port, arguably one of the best!
