Description

Madeira, this is allegedly an 1869 bottle, the seal on the very top looks genuine to me, wax on the side is later, written on the bottle is "Malvasia, 1869, Madeira". Brown glass bottle, side seam which rises on to the neck, which from my research does date the bottle to 1860-80, stamped underneath RL46 with a central S. There is now tiny, and I do mean tiny SEEPAGE from the bottle at the top which only happened after I started moving the bottle and began taking photographs. It smells incredible. Bottle will be sent with a very tightly taped bag over the top, but please do note, no returns, from the description, and details below you know as much as I do about the bottle.
