A very rare example from the 1972 vintage. The 1972 Quinta de Vargellas has matured into a tawny style port. On the nose very strong berry fruits. On the palate hints of the Vargellas fire. Long aftertaste. Excellent (The Vintage Port Shop)
Medium body. Mature and nearly on top. Sweet with chocolate and mint in flavour. Complex and elegant with a lovely finish.
