Description

Provenance:
- purchase from (20yr) relationship wine merchant (Uncorked) in 2015
- Uncorked were selling it on behalf of the original EP purchaser ( a client of theirs)

Storage:
- Perfect: unbroken LCB/Vinotheque/Eton Park since EP

Packaging:
- I have removed and am drinking 6 from the OWC - the 6 being sold will be delivered in the OWC

Duty/VAT status
- DP
- to be clear, you are buying Duty and VAT paid.
- "on the table" price

Reserve Price (£950)
I know, I know - boring! But here s why....
- Winesearcher lowest £950IB (ie after est. £16 duty, £20 delivery, and c£190 VAT paid = £1175 on the table)
- LivEx (19/12/23 my latest reading) £1890/12bt case IB, ie £945/6
- I can sell and receive LivEx -10% commission, ie £850 plus duty, vat, delivery ie c£975 net to me.
- So instead of paying the livEx broker the commission, I am offering the wine here on BFW with the 10% commission included as a discount
- Which is how I get to my reserve price of £950, delivered (insured), duty and VAT paid, to you.
- I reckon that s a c£200 discount to buying stock of the same quality elsewhere.

Upselling!
- I also have 12bts IB of the 2005 and the 2009 if anyone is interested in 6 of those (I m going to drink the other 6s)

Photos:
- the professional one was taken by LCB about 5yrs ago.
- You will be receiving 6 from the 12 shown in the professional photo (I can t guarantee which, because I am drinking 6 which were delivered to me)
- the unprofessional one was taken by me of 1 from the 6 I had delivered. As you can see the level is styill perfect after c5yrs non-professional storage.

Delivery:
- will be actioned by LCB and their delivery service - I have never had any problem and they will deliver on a specific date at your/our request.
- The hammer price includes UK delivery ONLY; I am happy to ship worldwide but we will need to agree the method and add any additional cost (above the est. £20 cost to me for UK shipping).

Reason for selling:
- "drinking 6, selling 6" - the usual.

Do ask any questions arising.
