This 2004 blend of 45% Syrah, 30% Grenache Noir, 20% Carignan and 5% Cinsault from the South West of France is a deep, intense black colour which has a powerful nose and hints of red and black fruits, garrigue and spices. This is a rich wine with a variety of aromas present including hints of leather and pepper on the nose and a nice long finish that seems to go on forever. Superb value at this price and drinking at its very best.
