One bottle of Macallan Intense Arabica recently purchased from a UK wine merchant and withdrawn from bond.
The Harmony collection has proved an incredibly popular purchase amongst whisky lovers, with the first iteration popping up on the secondary market at twice its initial value.
The key word here is inspired. The Inspiration for this lovely whisky comes from a coffee bean, so it is unsurprising that the aroma from the dram has similar notes. I also found gingerbread and a hint of enticing spice. On tasting it has a great smooth mouthfeel with chocolate and vanilla showing (a mocha like quality?). The finish is long and it’s hard not to resist another sip.
