White Wines:-

Tim Adams Clare Valley Riesling 2005 :-

The wine has very lifted Riesling character with citrus aromatics of lime, lemon and grapefruit. The palate is seamless with moderate viscosity and brisk acid finish. Use as an aperitif or with any seafood. Riesling wines from Clare Valley are most enjoyable when young and zesty, or left to mature beyond five years of age. This wine has been sealed with screw caps to ensure its freshness and authenticity.

2001 Weingut Josef Leitz Rudesheimer Kirchenpfad Riesling Spätlese :-

91 Points

A lovely yellow hue, just beginning to go golden. On the nose, fairly subdued with a little talc, some big cherries, a hint of petrol. The mouth is where the action is with perfect balance for my tastes, marked with a good attack of sultana fruit, steely acidity and terrific length. Tastes of grapefruit rind also appear on the end. Overall, this has terrific density without being overtly sweet. Really good, would be even better with out the calcium.

Domaine Laporte Le Grand Argentier Menetou-Salon 2013:-

At the heart of Sancerre in the Loire Valley, the Laporte area was established in 1850. Located in the village of Saint-Satur, leaning against the edge of the Loire river that allowed the transport of wine, the village opens the door the vineyards of Sancerre.

The monks of the Abbey of Saint-Satur who created and developed the vineyard in its infancy. The property extends over 20 hectares now planted Sauvignon Blanc for white wines (80% of the area) and pinot noir for red and rosé wines.

Less known is the Menetou-Salon, the Bootstrap wine in Sancerre. Also made a classic sauvignon blanc. Menetou is a small village which down the Sancerre hill, right on the Loire. The soil here contains relatively more river sand, which in combination with the calcareous soil soft, supple but also delicious smell drifting Sauvignon gives one flavour, with a slight hint of peach. A nice and little classic white wine, delicious as an aperitif or with a light salad or fish.

Red Wines:-
Ravenswood "Lodi" Zinfandel 2009 :-

Just like great wine, Zinfandel vines only get better with age. For this Old Vine Zinfandel, we chose vineyards in San Joaquin County where warm days are punctuated by cool nights. The grapes stay dry, just what Zinfandel likes, but the roots have pushed deep to find water and nutrients so that the fruit is both juicy and concentrated. Cool nights mean longer hang time which in turn means more complexity. You’ll discover aromas and flavours of dried currants, spice, plum, and wild berry in this wine, along with self-assured, muscular tannins and balanced acidity. Unbelievable with lasagne, grilled pepper steak, or stew. Drink now, or age another 5–7 years

McHenry Hohnen, Rolling Stone, 2010 :-

McHenry Hohnen Vintners are a family owned winery in the southern part of the Margaret River wine region. The history of McHenry Hohnen wines begins when winemaker and 3rd generation biological farmer David Hohnen and vine growing brother-in-law Murray McHenry joined forces in 2004.
of variety, growing season and individual site. McHenry Hohnen’s aim is to produce a range of wines which truly reflect their site and varietal origins.
The cream of the crop. The best of the best. The Rolling Stone is our flagship wine; Cabernet dominant blended with Malbec, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Jean Luc Colombo Les Forots Cotes du Rhone France 2007:-

Jean Luc Colombo Les Forots Cotes du Rhone Franc is made from 60 year old plus vines grown on chalky soils. 100% Jean-Luc Domaine, this single vineyard wine is a declassified Cornas which offers superb value. An original and unique Syrah, it is richly aromatic with a very fine structure and good attack of small ripe fruits (raspberries, blackberries and blueberries) on the palate, with a finish where notes of violets, liquorice and spices dominate.
