Description

Two bottles of the Normandie Est. 1693 'Eisen & Viljoen' - the 2009 and 2013 - both excellent years.
This Bordeaux Blend hails from Franschhoek in the Western Cape. Aged in French oak, of which 50% is new, the maturation lasts for 20 months ahead of a further two year ageing in bottle before release. A unique double-waxed seal adorns the bottle.
WS average is £54 per bottle. Tim Atkin 94 for the 2009.
