Description

Clearing out some space in the cellar and have 2 bottles of this wonderful Cornas that is just beginning to hit its stride. I have a few other lots of Italian & French reds in their prime and happy to combine postage on any lots bought together.

Another top-flight offering from Jaboulet, the 2017 Cornas Domaine de Saint Pierre features lovely notes of cracked pepper, licorice and crushed stone, all layered over a rich base of cassis. Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, with a long finish, it looks as if this parcel of vines at the top of the appellation flourished in 2017. WS 93-95
