You are looking at a chateau bottled bottle of the legendary (***** Broadbent) 1953 Petrus in quite wonderful order; label complete, level base of neck, capsule complete. This has lain in the same cellar since the early 70s. The cheapest chateau bottle I can find on winesearcher (which isn't in horrible order!) is over £2100 ex so with this reserve, some one is on for a bargain!

Pétrus 1953 – a huge, powerful, wonderful drink in top condition. Big, rich, huge nose; great fleshy middle palate full of softness, seductive, supple, with smoky Merlot overtones; great length and balance.
