Wine Enthusiast: 92/100: Quite ripe and oaky, made in a big, impressive style. Knocks you out with the density and concentration of its black currant, dark chocolate and coffee flavors. Completely dry, and with a tart, espresso-like bitterness, this beauty is guaranteed to age, with its firm tannins.
Bottle appearance in excellent condition for a 22 year old bottle but it is old and half bottles age quicker. I've drunk another in the same case and it was definitely over the hill but could be bottle variation. Retail in the US appears to be £130 per bottle.
