A fine bottle from 1959. Don't ask what it is like, I didn't have two so am unable to give an opinion...

However 1959 is 55 years ago - a fine summer throughout Europe and good wines produced. Anyone of that vintage would be pleased to receive this good and well presented bottle. Rare indeed.

This one was imported by the late and lamented Victoria Wine Co. 'Vic Wine' to most, which suffered a fatal demise under the Threshers banner a few years back with all who rode with them and whose carpet bagger new owners never really understood what the wine trade was all about...('enough' I hear you cry).
