Despite the fading color, this wine is still loaded with heaps of ripe, sweet fruit. The palate impression is akin to a 20-year-old tawny port. This wine is ripe, hedonistic, and a privilege to drink.

The bottle comes from a very good Devon cellar (from which we have regularly offered wines before). We believe the seller bought the bottle on release. Whilst the label is far from perfect, the vintage and 'Chateau Rayas' are still clear. In addition the colour of the wine is very good and we would expect it still to be good drinking.
