Label: Complete if a bit dusty
Level (see photo) Mid-high shoulder
Capsule: No signs of any leaks. An old tear of no consequence and a 'bif' to the top.

Robert Parker wrote of this wine back in 1984:
"Given the listless management that Poyferré was under during this period, it is a wonder that the 1966 turned out as well as it did. Now fully mature, this medium-bodied, stylish wine has good black currant fruit, a complex, yet restrained bouquet of cedar and spices, and a good crisp, clean finish".
