A Grand Cru from the Gevrey-Chambertin commune. These wines should be starting to drink after 10 years of bottling and can then just continue mellowing and integrating powerful tannins and deep fruit. Aged Chambertin can be powerful yet graceful - in my opinion - and I have drunk a few over the last few decades.
