"Tasted by Rupert on 5/23/2011: Dinner with López de Heredia wines 1934-1976 (Cambio de Tercio, London SW5): Lean, exotically spicy a la Musar, on the palate red fruited and grippy, lots of game, lots of sweet penetrating fruit, a real stunner (357 views)
Tasted by Seth Rosenberg on 3/23/2011 & rated 96 points: Light nose of coffee, earth. Then strawberries and roses. Great but not strong. Beautiful on the palate: meaty, earthy and chewy. Great meaty finish. Nose - 5/6, Palate - 6/6, Finish - 6/6, Je Ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 18/20. (188 views)
Tasted by ews3 on 10/20/2010 & rated 91 points: Zachys Robin Hood 2010 Wine Tasting (La venue, NYC): really nice and i would not believe this is a 42 yr old wine. better finish than the '54 without as much of the smoke. tobacco, dried red cherry and clove. (885 views)
Tasted by ChrisR on 9/21/2008 & rated 94 points: Coppery translucent brown. Beautiful layers of cherries and strawberries, sweetening as it opend up, with notes of flowers, allspice and leather. Silky, almost ethreal, texture, not a hint of tannin, but still with a strong, bracing backbone of acid. A terrific wine and not merely because it was 40 years old, although that was part of the pleasure. (703 views)"
