"Impressive '70 Ducru-Beaucaillou.Still young with incredible energy and focus.Notes of sous-bois,earth,currant,mint,all framed and perfectly balanced tannin.This bottle could easily go another decade or two.Scored from a cold humid cellar in Laguna Beach".

"Cork in excellent shape,although quite saturated.Clear terracotta color.Very musty nose mostly blew off after an hour and autumnal notes of forest floor and dried berry fruits emerged.This wine really came to life after a 3 hour decant.Beautiful entry with a mouth-filling mid-palate and long cedary finish.Superb fully mature claret".
