"Good condition bottle bought at auction from a recently opened case.Cork needed the butler's friend.With sandy browning but lively and clear.Not much nose at first,later blackcurrant. Palate: bell pepper,liquorice,blood,cedar.Soft and savoury with good amount of fruit.Good length.Overall,a lovely balanced old claret.Hard to compare to a young wine.Could've/should've bought another bottle".
