Description

Three bottles from the great 1970 vintage.

Saint Estèphe is reputed to make very long lasting wines. Meyney, outside the Classified Growths enjoys one of the highest reputations in the appellation.

These three bottles have weathered the intervening 45 years with some aplomb. The levels are all 'Base of Neck'/ Very Top Shoulder. The labels are more or less complete - just some minor nibbles - and the capsules are intact and original.
