Description

Two bottles of Haut-Bergey which has become better known for the last 20 years. Both have good levels and complete labels and embossed capsules.

Château Haut Bergey dates back to the 15th century and was acquired by Sylviane Garcin-Cathaird in the early 1990's. The estate has been extensively renovated and the construction of three new chais were carried out to rehabilitate the domain. The 29 hectares of Haut Bergey are not all in production, 21 hectares are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot.

Note: As per the label, this is strictly speaking a Graves, the Pessac-Léognan (which it became) appellation started later to differentiate the northern part of the Graves area.
