I can only locate one RP tasting note on the 1975 Soutard (way back in 1984).However,in the note,he states that it is a big,very impressive wine that will continue to evolve very slowly.
According to WineSearcher,as at December 2017,the average retail price in the UK of a bottle of 1975 Soutard was £58 (Ex VAT and Duty).


"Soutard is usually an opaque dark ruby color (there is no fining or filtration) and possesses a powerful,tannic ferocity that can be off-putting when the wine is young.Nevertheless,this is one of St.Emilion's best-kept secrets.For consumers looking for wines capable of lasting 20 or more years,Soutard should be seriously considered.
A very impressive wine,the 1975 Soutard is still youthfully dark ruby,with rich,savory,ripe,full-bodied flavors,plenty of mouth-coating tannins,and a long finish.This is a big,typical Soutard that will continue to evolve very slowly. Last tasted,October 1984".
