"Undoubtedly one of the successes of the vintage and destined to be one of the longest-lived wines of 1976,Montrose continues to exhibit a dark ruby color,a spicy,vanillin oakiness,and a generous,deep,black currant fruitiness.While many 1976s have turned brown and begun to dry out,losing their fruit,Montrose remains young,impressive,and promising".
