Description

A good looking bottle from a collectors cellar in Devon.
Good complete label, and capsule covering a firm cork. The level is "Very Top Shoulder"

It is understandable that many associate the word Figeac with St Emilion. However this small estate of just 4.5 hectares (almost 100% merlot) is situated on the Pomerol side of the dividing line between the two appellations. "La Rose" is found all over the Bordelais and probably are allusions to the house of Lancaster in the time of the Plantagenets.
Well worth discovering.
