Description

The 15 hectares are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit-Verdot - a very traditional St Julien blend.

This bottle has a crispy clean label, a good capsule and a good level at Very High Shoulder.

Château Terrey-Gros-Cailloux's vineyard is particularly well positioned. It consists of several fairly large plots. The largest lies next to Léoville-Barton and Talbot's vineyards; another large plot adjoins Gruaud-Larose, while others rub shoulders with Beychevelle and Ducru-Beaucaillou.

Due to very high-quality vinification and careful aging (14 months with 20% of barrels renewed each year), the wines are rich, fruity and full-bodied with a good capacity to age.
