Description

Label largely complete with just a couple of minor bin scrapes.
Level at Base of Neck - normal after 35 years in bottle
Capsule. Chateau embossed but lacking a portion to the skirt - visible on main photo.

Villemaurine is at the centre of the Holy Land - Saint Emilion that is.
Just 8 hectares planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and has the largest underground cellars in the region.
As someone once noted "if Mohammed had drunk this he wouldn't have banned wine for his disciples. Prophets sometimes lack clairvoyance". Amen to that.
