A good looking bottle after 38 years in bottle with a good complete label, a level just in the neck and an embossed capsule covering an immobile cork.

10 hectares - 90% Merlot and 5% each Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon.

Owned by Comte von Niepperg (Canon La Gaffelière etc). 15/20 months in oak barrels.

Elevated to 'Grand Cru Classé' status in the revision of 1969.
