Description

THREE LOTS of TWO BOTTLES

Purchased by Domaines Rothschild (Lafite) in the early '70s La Cardonne, situated at Blaignan, was completely restructured à la Lafite. It was sold in 1990 to the present owners.

Covering some 87 hectares, it is planted with 50% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged in barrels 50% new each vintage.

These six bottles have been particularly well cellared. All levels are at 'base of neck' The Labels are perfect as are the Rothschild stamped capsules. The vintage, 1982, needs no introductions...
