This bottle from the legendry 1982 vintage has a good fill at Base of Neck with and a good embossed capsule. There is a nick to the skirt of the capsule but nothing dramatic.
All bar the 'visually challenged' will note that the label has suffered somewhat but the stains are from the exterior, and although unfortunate will not alter the wine in any way.

Unquestionably the greatest La Lagune until the 2005 was conceived, the 1982 exhibits a dense ruby/purple-tinged colour along with a big, sweet bouquet of black cherries, licorice, smoky toast, and forest floor, a plush, medium to full-bodied mouth feel, and sweet tannin. It is close to full maturity, and should keep for another decade
