Château Lamarque enjoys an excellent reputation and has around 48 hectares (100% replanted in 1963) composed of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit verdot.
1982 needs no introductions and this bottle has a good clean label, a good level at 'base of neck' and an embossed capsule covering a nice tight cork.
