Bonneau du Martray own the highest proportion of vines on the hill of Corton. Heavy pruning and green harvesting mean that yields are astonishingly low and, much to the amazement of neighbours, they are usually the first to harvest by several days. After elevage in barriques, these tantalisingly fine, mineral wines undergo the very lightest of filtrations before being bottled.
Current vintage releases are on sale at over £100 per bottle but here you have the opportunity to have, at over 30 years old, some mature Burgundy from a superb house that has been kept exceptionally well as can be seen by the condition and level.
