Very rare bottle of this exceptional vintage from one of the great Bordeaux wine makers ..still has its original sale price on and has been handled very carefully through the years. Label and capsule very good condition.

Full into the neck ..superb example!!

For reference the price on a top wine distributor is £249

Tasting notes ..

Despite a watershed vintage, this Haut Brion tastes amazing..everything I wanted from a decent Haut Brion vintage, I can find in this 84; good smokey nose, elegance, pleasant, so easy to drink. Looks like it's extremely difficult to find fault with a first growth . Had similar experiences with Latour & Cheval Blanc, but not so much of other first growths. This Haut Brion ranks highly amongst all first growths."
