Description

They only have Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot planted in the vineyards. The percentage changes according to the vintage but it is about 65% Cabernet and 35% Merlot. The vines are about 35 years old. The harvest takes place by hand, which is a law in Bordeaux.

7/24/2015 - ANONYMOUS WROTE: 93 Points
On the palate this is delicate and caressing with some nice dark fruit. This is so soft and subtle. After a half hour or so the wine takes on a more caramel note which is a new welcome dimension. This was such a treat, similar to the few previous bottles I had. Drink now.

4/23/2015 - DOUBLEMAGNUM LIKES THIS WINE: 93 Points

The color is a bit lighter and with a slight brick towards the rim. But the nose is much more potent. Very Bordeaux, very Margaux. Leather, charcoal, cigar box, cassis. It is silky smooth in texture and the finish is long, almost a minute long. Lovely wine.

RRP £ 68 bottle if you can find it !
