Description

Two lots of THREE bottles.

A small (7 hectare) estate in Moulis (inland from Pauillac & St Julien) planted with 73% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petit Verdot and feature very old vines - 60% planted between 1920 and 1944.
Family owned (the Coubris family) for many generations. The wine is very traditionally made and aged in oak barrels - 50% new each vintage. Annual production is limited to around 35.000 bottles.
From the great '89 vintage, a good surprise awaits the new owner.
