"This is a dormant volcano,waiting to explode with fruit.Bubbling over with flowers,blackberries,cherries,and chocolate.Full-bodied,very chewy,adding masses of tannins. Long dried cherry,berry aftertaste.Very closed.Needs time.Best after 2009"

Initially Robert Parker only gave this wine a moderate rating of 90 Points,but in his most recent tasting in March 2010,he has upgraded his rating considerably to 96 Points! Perhaps it needed the tannins to integrate,as James Suckling says above "Best after 2009":-
"Deep garnet-brick.Dark chocolate cherries,espresso,cinnamon,rose petals,tree bark and loam.Medium to full-body,with layers of concentrated fruit and spice flavors,supported by crisp acidity and a medium + level of fine tannins. Very long finish".
