Previously known as Domaine Bourgneuf-Vayron, Château Bourgneuf has 10 hectares in a single block which is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet - a traditional blend in these parts.

With a deep ruby colour and a huge plummy, spicy bouquet that borders on over-ripeness, this lush, rich, chewy-textured wine is the most impressive Bourgneuf in years.

Medium ruby colour, with a reticent but robust bouquet of overripe fruit, earth, and vanillin from new oak, this wine is ripe, round, and somewhat one-dimensional, but nevertheless, satisfying.
