Robert Parker wrote:
Exhibiting good tannin, the exotic, orange-scented 1990 offers up ripe aromas of tropical fruits, cassis, and new oak. Rich, medium to full-bodied, with excellent concentration, low acidity, and a velvety, even voluptuous mouth-feel, this wine should provide delicious drinking over the next 8-10 years.

Some CellarTracker notes:
(Avge score 90.6)

12/26/2016 - IANTHEMAC LIKES THIS WINE: 92 Points
Cork fell apart like a cheap suit. Amazing nose - leather and tobacco. Smooth finish. Immense.

7/22/2016 - CHATTERS LIKES THIS WINE:
Decanted after dodgy cork trauma...note to follow...I never thought I'd write something this pretentious...but this is archetypically 1990's Bordeaux. Sorry. Sous bois, earthy, mushroom, leather, peppery spice, slight violet(?), red berry fruit - perhaps touches of VA draw the fruit into the more sour red fruit spectrum. Leather notes lend some fine but chewy tannins. My drinking companion says it is Edwardian...This really is very good and makes me very happy.

7/19/2016 - CHATTERS WROTE:
From Coravin. Brambly notes, touches of coffee, biscuit, sous bois. Only a tiny pour as the cork attempted to firstly sink into the bottle and then, secondly, escape with the Coravin needle...soft wet cork potentially bleeding air means drink up soon for me but, even on this tiny taste, this bottle is far from ruined.
