From the immaculate cellar of a meticulous wine collector.

94 points Wine Spectator
Concentrated. Medium-ruby colour, with ripe plum, cigar tobacco and smoke aromas. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long finish. Still closed, almost clumsy. Give it time. (JS) (8/2000)

Jancis Robinson
Very dark blackish crimson. Notably aromatic, even a hint of herbaceousness on this bottle. Lovely balance and spread of mellow aromas. Tannins fully molten. Quite delicate for a 1990. Quite fresh enough on the finish. Subtle with a hint of tarmacadam. Lots of pleasure. Neat. 18/20 points (JR) 9/2010
