Excellent 'in neck' levels, good complete capsules but damp affected labels, however all the essentials remain - see main photo.

An 11 hectare single block vineyard planted with 65% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc, and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon,

The site is an old battlefield from the 100 years war, not as celebrated as that of Castillon, the last battle in that war. Under the same family ownership since 1933, the 1998 - a truly wonderful vintage for Merlot dominated wines, will now be ready to drink.
