A good looking 20 year old.
This bottle has an excellent level - well into the neck - a perfect label and an embossed capsule with just a biff on the rim - see photo.

Took 2 hrs to decant it and the aroma is distinct. Wood, chives and earth are the most distinct. Quite complex with good balance with structure.

Chateau Gazin Vertical with friends: Clear, dark purple, slightly fading to the rim. Clean nose, dark fruits dominate, liquorice. Very full palate, tannins nicely softened. Medium finish.

A very solid Ninety. Nearly fourteen years old. Dark ruby in colour with a touch of brownish rim! The nose is very nice, jammy blueberries, roasted herbs, orange peel and a touch of creamy coffee, after one and a half hours, the Chinese medicine and mint shows! On the palate, it is a solid wine, slightly sweet red fruits, quite rich and dense I have to say! Drink now or in the coming few years, I'm not in a hurry in this case!
