Description

The 2004 Astrales is 100% Tinto Fino (the local clone of Tempranillo) aged for 18 months in French and American oak, 30% new. Opaque purple-colored, it offers a fragrant bouquet of cedar, earth, spice box, blackberry, and licorice. Densely packed on the palate, the wine has outstanding depth and concentration, full, ripe tannins and great balance. It will require at least 6-8 years of additional cellaring to emerge from its cocoon and then should drink well for another 20+ years. Drink 2007-2027

I can find no note for the Celeste 2011, but the 09 scored 90-93 and has a drinking window to 2021. The 05 was scored 91+ in 2011 and described as still evolving. I would imagine the 2011 is drinking now and will go a few more years. Made by the world-renowned firm Torres.
