Appearance was clear,medium-ruby.
Nose was clean,medium+ intensity with aromas of lead pencil shavings,earth,tobacco leaves,cigar box,blackcurrant,pungent spices,liquorice,vanilla.
On the palate,dry,medium+ acidity,medium+ tannin,medium+ bodied.Flavours of ripe black fruits,vanilla,liquorice,blackcurrant.Long finish.
A classic claret,with the unmistakable cigar box aromas".
