"The 2001 Ogier Cote Rotie is soft and sexy,but possesses more volume and intensity than the 2000.A roasted,herbaceous bouquet of crème de cassis,licorice,violets,spice box,and pepper emerges from this mediun to full-bodied,broad,expansive 2001.The finish lasts 5-12 seconds longer than the 2000's.It appears to be Ogier's finest Cote Rotie since the brilliant 1999 and should drink well for 10-15 years" (Written approx.2003).
