"The Shiraz cuvees are cropped at 1-1.5 tons of fruit per hectare,with alcohol levels between 14.5% and 16% and are completely aged in old American oak for 26-28 months prior to being bottled with no clarification.They are all upper-90 point occasionally perfect efforts that offer riveting textures,concentration levels and aromatics.
The 2001 Shiraz Seven Acre is an opulent hussy boasting magnificent fruit concentration,enormous body as well as length,and surprising elegance and purity.As always,the fruit and vineyard character dominate,because no new oak is used in these offerings".
