The cuvee "Kristial" emerges from the north-eastern Chateauneuf du Pape lieux-dit called Christia.There is only an annual production of 5,000 bottles.Robert Parker's tasting notes:-

"The 2001 Kristial is a wine of phenomenal intensity,purity,and precision.It reveals better depth and volume than its 2000 sibling,but has lost none of the cuvee's hallmark elegance and feminine qualities.A majestic wine,it is a Chateauneuf du Pape for Burgundy Grand Cru aficionados. Anticipated maturity: 2007-2020".
