Rare availability of this wine in the UK by the sought after Tenute Girolamo from this fantastic 2013 vintage. Superb drinking Merlot for any serious lover of Italian greats. Lovely with red meat and strong cheeses. Full-bodied red that truly opens up with breathing, as done with the best reds from Italy. I usually decant this wine 2-3 hours prior to drinking. This wine sits with the best like Amarone, Barolo, Brunello di Montalcino of Italian greats.
