Really well-made, with Indian spice, incense, berry and raspberry character. Full-bodied, with fine, silky tannins and a finish that goes on for a very long time indeed. Frescobaldi knows how to make Brunello. 93/100 points Wine Spectator

The Frescobaldi property has produced a particularly aromatic wine with heavy oak influence on the mid-palate. Quite a modern style but with really ripe but gripping tannins on the finish. Jancis Robinson
