Les Chaillots is a Premier Cru climat of the Aloxe-Corton appellation in Burgundy. As such, wines made exclusively from the vineyard's fruit may add the Les Chaillots name to the Aloxe-Corton Premier Cru appellation title on labels.
The 2005 vintage has a fine perfume marked by cherries and just a hint of liquorice. The palate is full and the tannins are supportive yet ripe, with lovely minerality and poise. Sweet and long says Jancis Robinson. A superb match to poultry and a real Christmas treat.
