Tasted single blind at Southwold. The nose appears to have closed down - sulky and a little dusty. The palate is full-bodied with a firm structure, prevalent oak, masculine with touches of pencil lead and tobacco towards the finish. Moderate weight but just lacking a little freshness and charm. A temperamental adolescent but I have faith! Bunker this down for a few years. Drink 2012-2020.
