Description

3 bottles of mature St Emilion from the under-rated 2001 vintage.

Armens is not a well known chateau but I've just opened a bottle and it was a very satisfying bottle of claret indeed, drinking just about at peak for my palate.

There are no recent cellatracker notes on this vintage, but check out the recent very positive tasting notes on the surrounding 2000 and 2002 vintages, which align well with my experience of the 2001.
