From the famed estate in the north of the Medoc region of Bordeaux's left bank, this wine is hallmark Saint-Estephe.

Largely Cabernet Sauvignon based (70%, with 30% Merlot), the wine speaks of its origins with classic blackcurrant and earthy tones. It is from the 2004 vintage which was sandwiched between the famously warm 2003 and spectacular 2005 vintages, so is often overlooked for what is a classically-framed expression of this estate and region.
